Would you love or hate me more if you knew who I was fully - the person I know I am but do not reveal to any random person?
Or would you at that point wish I did not exist so you would not have to feel stuck in-between and not have to decide?
I keep pondering over in my mind, who I think I am, or what things am I capable of. And in the end, because of the low self-confidence you instilled in me years after years, because of all the hatred you plaster onto me day after day, it makes me wonder.. Maybe I am just what you say I am, another waste of space.
But.
I won’t let you win. I refuse to, cause I know you’re wrong.
That turmoil you caused is seemingly making me relapse, relapse into another…
A route I fight so hard to avoid, but every few years, we seem to meet again. Maybe.. it’s just fate. It was meant to be, for me never to feel joy as long as I am here.
All I did was forget something small that I had to do on Monday, and all the backlash, whiplash, anger and hatred spilled non-stop out from that gap of yours… It’s not like you’ve never forgotten anything before either.
Today started out as a fun and interesting day, could have ended in a rare perfect day in just a few hours but after that “talk”, if you can call it that.., went down the drain from that point on, all because of something super trivial.
So why the hate? Why that menace in your eyes when you look upon me? What have I ever done to you to make you feel like I owed you the world?
I really don’t understand. Then again, I guess, I have never been able to before either. I just take it from you day-in, day-out as if that’s a normality of what encompasses a day.
Eggy, lemony cupcakes made for my dad’s birthday :)
Due to Toronto’s tornado warning / watch in effect, dinner plans got postponed. *Sigh* I hate these last minute adjustments :(
Happy Birthday Dad! Hope you like onomnomnom-ing on them as much as I do xD

A butterfly made of silk stockings and rainbow colored wires for the body and antenna perched ever so gently over a lily to collect its wonderful pollen to spread it to flowers all over the world.
Something so delicate can only mean one thing, a special day for a special person in my life. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Here’s a “bouquet” of my first batch attempt of four different types of flowers, minus the blue carnation one and with the addition of a orange/yellow tulip on the side. Didn’t like the tulip much, as it doesn’t really resemble a realistic flower. The flow is just… somewhat off.
All are made of stocking / silk entwined with wires. They make for nice decorations, I think . Now I just need to find the perfect vase for them….. IKEA.. here I come…. sometime… in the near future >.>…
I would just add to that, if you live in one of the rich nations, you live behind a military barricade, and the only reason that you don’t know that every single thing you buy is based on violence is because of that military barricade. So we can turn away in complete denial to the real cost of every single piece of food we eat and everything we buy — the cell phones, the ipods, the cars, whatever. There are a whole bunch of dead people and dead bioregions behind everything that we buy. And it is that military barricade that keeps us safe and keeps us in a complete land of dreams. But it is all based on violence. All we are saying is that we want to stop the violence. We don’t want to make violence.
My friend Gail Dines has a lot of students that work at places like Old Navy and the Gap, and they regularly find, when they’re unpacking the jeans and the T-shirts, little notes stuffed into the pockets that say “Please help us.” This is from the factory workers in China or Taiwan or wherever.
I love you guys thiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssss much!
RIP Jack Layton - August 22, 2011
A truly wonderful man and the most electorally successful leader of the NDP in a long time.
You will be missed.

Another silk flower made of stocking and meticulous weaving of wires and textile and such.
Technically it’s supposed to be an orchid, but from that angle, I thought it was kind of cool how a heart shape could be seen from the bending and placement of certain petals, making it more than just an orchid.
Could be found: here as well.

One of my all-time favourite flowers in the world: a single red rose!
And this time, this one would never wither, as afterall, it is a silk red rose with gold wire rims, making it just that much more precious.
Made this rose for a certain someone

Went to Scarborough yesterday with my two aunts and there we learned to create flowers out of stockings *-*! Each and every one of the flowers on display required timeless winding and weaving. Just that one flower shown above took me 2 hours to complete…….. :)
But in my opinion, it was totally worthwhile and if I were to be given the chance to redo everything or learn to make other types of flowers, I would totally leap to the chance!
Maybe one day I’ll have a whole bouquet of stocking flowers xD!
